Elizabeth and Mike at OceanCliff

Liz and Mike got hitched at OceanCliff on August 21, 2010.  It looked like the sky was going to open up but it held off and gave everyone a perfect day and evening by the seaside.  Frank Camera performed the ceremony in is heart touching style.

What a fun time we had - fantastic couple, awesome celebration!  Brass Attack was on hand to keep the floor jumping, and that is exactly what they did!  All of a sudden, all the members walked over to the couple and sang Billy Joel's "For the Longest Time" - so unique and they did a really good performance!

Mike from Mike Picard Videography was there, camera in hand, capturing the day right alongside us.   Bobby from Twigs Florist was busy creating beautiful arrangements for all to see - as usual, he out-did himself ... yet again!  Have you ever had a florist show up with extra bouquets and tweaking arrangements and adding flowers to your hair with a pair of pliers?  It the truth!  Bobby comes prepared.

Mike enjoying some cookies on the Job...Never would we ever turn down cookies!

Now that is the reaction we want from a bride when seeing her bouquet.

Mike has a passion for architecture so, they also did their Engagement Session at OceanCliff as well.  Check that out too:  Liz and Mike's Engagement Session

When Liz was asked what what was the most memorable part of your wedding day?  This is what they said.......... Mike & I decided to separate from each other for the entire day of the wedding until the ceremony.  I`m so glad we did this because it turned out to be our most cherished moment of the day.  Our ceremony took place on the back lawn of Ocean Cliff overlooking the water.  The bridesmaids and my father & I exited the building at the rear out of the ballroom and lined up on their "Shell Path" to start the ceremony.  When my father & I started the walk down the aisle - aside from taking in the whole experience and smiling at guests - this was the first time I was able to make eye contact with Mike all day.  Seeing each other at "our best" was extremely emotional.  We had tears in our eyes!  We will never forget that moment.  (So glad that Sara Zarrella has captured this on film)

I was so thrilled and honored to be a part of Liz and Mike's amazing day!

On a side note, Liz and Mike have been on a well-deserved extended honeymoon and we can't wait for them to get back and see their images!  ;-)

UPDATE:
Check out their wedding which is featured in 2011 Southern New England Wedding Magazine
