Nicoleta - Where Are They Now

I originally met Nicoleta at Alexandria and Daniel's wedding and, soon after, she came to us for a Red Boot Session.

I was pleasantly surprised and so excited when I recently received a call from Nicoleta and her husband, Steve. They asked me to photograph the Maternity Session! While they were here, Nicoleta and Steve signed up for our Chapter One Program, so now ... we will be able to follow their story as it progresses.

June 2010: UPDATE! Check out Yianni's (scroll down) Newborn Session from that we recently photographed as part of the Chapter One Program

Please take a peak at what is to be the first installment of Nicoleta's magnificent journey into motherhood!!!
Welcome, Yianni!!!

Rachael and Adam at Atlantic Beach Club - Newport, RI

Rachael and Adam met each other during their junior year in high school.  On May 26, 2000 they officially began their journey as a couple.  Rachael is another of my "planner" brides who knows exactly what she wants ~ she hired me two years prior to their wedding date!

On July 7, 2007 (777), Adam prepared a picnic and took Rachael to a park.  As they were sitting and enjoying the day, Adam presented Rachael with a scrapbook.  The last page of the scrapbook said, "Will you marry me?"

On May 21, 2010, the two officially promised their hearts to one another at Beavertail Light in Jamestown, RI.  I noticed something pretty cool ... the license plate on their limousine was 777!

We all headed to Atlantic Beach Club for photographs and their reception.  The day was absolutely perfect - it really couldn't get any better!

It worked out to be a rather busy weekend for the couple.  As you know, they planned quite a bit ahead of time and when the date neared, it turned out that Adam's graduation day was scheduled the day after the wedding date!  Adam earned his masters the next day for teaching - congratulations, Adam!!!!

Adam and Rachael make a terrific couple ... they've been at it for a while!  To steal a line from the best man's speech ... "It's about time!"

We wish them all the best as they take heir next steps alog their journey!

Scrumptions made the killer cake!

Here's my assistant, Maria, doing her magic!

Rose and Mike

Rose and Mike are getting married on June 18, 2011 at Nino's in Coventry, RI.  Rose is definitely a "planner" ... in fact, she booked me two years ago!  She had told me that she knew what she wanted and she wasn't going to settle for less!

Last weekend, I met them in Providence to photograph their Engagement Session right before the finals between the Celtics and LA.  Immediately after the session, they were off to see the Celtics play ... unfortunately the Celtics lost.  :-(

They're a real fun couple and both love goofing around!  Looking forward to the wedding ... I know it's going to be a fun time to be had by all ... especially with Victor from Party Time DJ's spinnin' the tunes!
Here's a sample of them showing they got the "goofy" on.

Heather's In-Studio Red Boot Session

Heather contacted us a while ago wanting to come in for one of our Red Boot Boudoir Sessions.  Throughout the course of our conversation with her, we discovered that she is truly an inspiration to all the women out there and deserves a round of applause!  She sets the bar in terms of having a healthy sense of confidence and a great "feel-good" attitude about oneself!

Heather's motives for doing her Red Boot Session was because she wanted to celebrate her youth and beauty!  She said she wanted to give herself a gift - how wonderful is that?

Good for you, Heather!!!

Birthday Bash

So, we here at Sara Zarrella Photography took a little time to cut loose and let our hair down down to join Sara in celebrating her 30'th birthday!  (Besides, it was good excuse to party with friends, family and our couples before the season kicked in ... that's when time for breathing becomes rather limited around here.  haha)

Many of our friends are the vendors we work with at weddings and they all came together to join the celebration too and provided their amazing talents to make the night a smashing success!  (They also know how to really party!  Well, 'cuz it's their business!)

Emily, from Paper Moss, happened to also be celebrating her birthday, so (unbeknownst to her) we made sure that there was a special cake waiting for her.  Tiff from Tiff's Wicked Cakes absolutely blew us away with the cake she designed!  Not only was it a pure work of art - it was DELICIOUS!!!  (Just sayin'.)

The house was shakin' and quakin' with Victor from Party Time DJ's spinning discs all night.  Again, our "Friendors" are in the serious business of making the party rock!

We also had a Photo Booth, which (for the adventurous crew amongst us ... in other words, everyone) proved to be a highlight of the evening, to put it mildly!

Jay from Golden Gate Studios did a magnificent job creating the florals (as always) and Scrumptions baked yummy goodness into the party favors that matched the awesome invitations by Paper Moss.

The night couldn't have been any better!  Thank you to EVERYONE!!!!

Appropriately, Kassie (our intern), named it "Sara Jr."
