Ryan is always late (but better late than never, right?). It took him four days to finally call her and ask her out on a date then he was two hours late for their first date!
One day, close to the holidays, they were at the Von Trapp family lodge in Stowe, Vermont. Earlier in the day, they went skiing and decided to go on a horse drawn carriage ride. The sleigh was lighted and decorated, which made for a romantic ride. All of a sudden, the "Crazy Horse Lady" stopped. Beth asked her why she had stopped and she said, "Uhmmm ... the horses like the view here."
The horse-lady got down and went around to the back of the carriage. Beth was intrigued. She leaned over the side and watched her go around to the back to see what she was up to and when she turned back to tell Ryan she thought the lady might be a little crazy, there was Ryan ... kneeling down, proposing!
Their wedding day was October 17, 2009. Bethany and Ryan exchanged vows at St. Matthew's Church in Cranston, RI and then we all brought the celebration to Astor's Beechwood Mansion in Newport, RI. Everyone was such great fun to be around ... bride and groom, the entire wedding party, family and friends. We had a wonderful time and LOTS of laughs with them. It's days like these that only prove to me that I chose the perfect way to earn a living! I love my job! Thanks, Bethany and Ryan for making us feel so welcomed. Best wishes to you, Bethany and Ryan!!!

Bethany was a real trooper ... it was gettin' pretty darned chilly by the lake at the
Temple to Music in Roger Williams Park but she kept her great sense of humor.
Astor's Beechwood Mansion in Newport, RI ... breathtaking, isn't it?
