"Perfume is pleasure ... find yours."
-Laura Donna

Laura Donna is a scent specialist -- your perfect scent is just a private consultation away! Learn the secrets of perfumery. She has a bouquet of classic and rare scent samples just for you.

A fragrance lover from childhood, currently driven to share its pleasures with others, Laura has led hundreds of individuals to finding their perfect scent. She holds a BA from Harvard University, an MBA from the University of Connecticut and CFSS Certification from the Fragrance Foundation of America. Now that is an impressive bouquet of knowledge!!

Last January at the Grace Ormonde Wedding Show at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston, Rhode Island. I had the pleasure of having a booth next to Laura. I have never in my life smelt so good!!! Gentleman watch out! I really never knew much about the world of fragrance but after spending the day next to Laura, I learned so much and the importance of scents!!!

While I had her ear, I asked a lot of questions and wanted to share what I learned with you:

So, if there are so many fragrances out there, how do we know which ones to buy?

"Yes, a dizzying number of fragrances. Over a thousand new launches every year - too many for anyone to track. Consumers are completely overwhelmed. You want to find just the fragrances that will bring you exquisite pleasure. I can help you navigate."

Most of us have been wearing perfumes our whole lives. We each believe that we know what is right for us. Why should we consult a specialist?

"You may love perfume and have scents that make you happy, but have you ever wondered if there’s a scent so extraordinary that it would complete you in a way nothing ever has before? That’s why you come to me."

Many of us have been disappointed when a fragrance seems to change, and it's not only due to sunlight exposure or temperature changes. It's the situation where “I used to like this stuff and it’s just not as good as it used to be.” The manufacturer may have changed the formula. An even worse situation is when your favorite scent has been discontinued entirely. So you want to find something new but given the boundless options out there, how do you start?

"I can use the tools in my toolkit to narrow it down to the ones you are most likely to enjoy. In many cases I can provide samples you can try, or take you shopping and guide you in choosing the perfect perfume to suit you."

Not only does she create personal scent profile and fragrance recommendation for you but she can also host a "Scent" party and match up all your closet friends with the fragrance that is right for them.
