Hot off the Press - Newport Experience 2010!
Guess who just got the cover of the brand new Newport Experience! WE DID!!! Yay!!!
Thank you to the folks at Newport Experience for featuring our photography throughout the brochure!
Fun idea!
Looking for something new and fun to do for a really different centerpiece? We came across this cool idea and wanted to share it with you! Check it out:
If you're throwing a party for someone's anniversary or birthday, the guest of honor will shine with a set of photo frame lanterns. They consist of three hinged photo frames set around votive candles. The black-and-white photos are printed onto ecru-colored vellum paper, which is translucent enough for the images to be visible by candlelight.

Here's the Photo Centerpiece "How-To":
-Disassemble three like-sized frames, setting aside their fronts and discarding their backings.
-Paint or stain wooden frames desired color; let dry.
-Upload or scan photographs into a computer.
-With editing software, make the images black and white and resize them to fit your frames.
-Print them onto vellum paper with an ink-jet printer.
-Slip the images into the frames.
-Using cloth tape, hinge frames together to form a triangle.
-Stand frames around a candle in a protective glass holder.
Pretty neat, huh?

Stacey and Dimitrios
I've also had the honor photographing Stacey and Dimitrios' Engagement Session ... again, thank for letting be there to capture it!
We're all going to be heading out to join them in Vegas for the big day on October 3, 2010. Can't wait for the trip! I LOVE VEGA$ ... check out the last time we tore up that town with our digital bullets: What Happens in Vegas? Wooohooooo!!!
I wish both of you all the best and am very much looking forward to celebrating your marriage with you!
Check out the slideshow from their Engagement Session!
Kimya and Jason
Kimya and Jason met through work - over the phone. He lives in Rhode Island and she lives in California. As time went by, they continued to speak over the phone and began to form a friendship ... all while still never meeting. They were finally given the opportunity to meet and the spark flew!
Now, they spend their time zig-zagging across the States to see one another. It's really cool how they do it too because, instead of simply travelling back and forth to one another’s hometowns, they pick different spots all over the country, so not only do get to spend time together but each location and experience is brand new!
We decided to photograph their Engagement Session in Providence. It turns out these two really know how to work the camera too! They had a lot of fun playing around and enjoying one another in front of my lens and we had an awesome time. Kimya had a job interview on right before the session - fingers crossed she gets the job and move here! :-)
Kimya and Jason actually having two weddings (yup ... TWO)! First, they'll be getting married in California on October 16, 2010 at Willow Heights - which will be a "cultural Persian" wedding. Then, they will have a "Catholic Italian" wedding here in Rhode Island at Kirkbrae Country Club on June 12, 2011!
Congrats, you two - we can't wait!

Gina and Chad
Gina and Chad will be kicking the New Year celebrations off by getting married! On January 1st, 2011 at OceanCliff, friends and family will join them when they merge their life paths together and continue on their journey as man and wife! New Year ~ New Beginnings!!!
Victor from Party Time DJ will also be there to join in the festivities and rock the house, as he always does!
The Engagement Session took this week ... their wedding images will be a wonderful contrast from the summery images we got. We decided to go with the city look that Providence provides and we painted the town to match Gina's shoes! The town gives great color and atmosphere and they really worked it for me and my lens!
Had a great time and can't wait for the winter wedding ... stay tuned!
Keri and Michele at Bournedale in Plymouth, MA
Memorial Day weekend was celebrated amongst friends and family as Keri and Michele exchanged vows and united as one. Keri's sister officiated and it was incredibly moving to see how the ceremony truly touched everyone's hearts and I was thrilled to be a part of it.
The entire group was a blast to be around and the dance floor was swinging all night. The fun times were definitely had! The day was so refreshingly unique and original ... surrounded by woods and water, log cabins and the evening ended with bonfire on the beach.
Keri and Michele, we wish both of you all the best! Getting to know each of you was an absolute pleasure and I am blessed to consider you to be friends.
Mmmmmmmmm YUMMY!
Meet Keri ....
